How we charge

We provide an excellent service for a fair price and where we can cost certainty allowing you to budget with confidence.  This is why we offer fixed price options as well as the more traditional hourly rate.

  • FREE INITIAL DISCUSSION on the telephone

We will provide you with some general no obligation advice and together we can then decide what would be a sensible next step.

  • FIXED FEE INITIAL MEETING with written follow up  (£150 plus VAT)

At this meeting you will get to know one of our experienced family lawyers who will discuss your concerns with you in more detail and offer you some more detailed specific advice.  You will then receive a written account of the meeting.  We will take payment from you at the meeting either by cheque or card

  • FIXED PRICE options

You may know what it is you want to protect and provide for in a pre or post nuptial agreement. Your partner may have a prepared agreement and you simply want an experienced lawyer to review it and advise. Alternatively you may want an agreement drafted for presentation to your partner. In appropriate circusmtances we can do this for a fixed price

If your circumstances are more complex or require negotiation then we will agree a competitive hourly rate and provide you with a cost estimate. We will keep you informed of the ongoing cost and are happy to agree caps with you when certain limits are reached if that would assist. Payments on account are required and bills are usually delivered monthly.
