We have just completed a sale of one house and a purchase of another house, in different parts of the country. Although there was no chain and the buyer was a cash buyer, as attorneys, we were at risk of considerable complexities if my mother died mid process. So speed was of the essence.

I agreed an offer on the 2nd Oct. I got sale documents on the 12th Oct and Exchange and Completion was achieved on 11th Nov. Considering we are in the middle of a pandemic, the property was in Lancashire, in lockdown, my sister and I are in different counties and the property was not Land registered the speed was outstanding.
