We are delighted that Emma Sayers, a Chartered Legal Executive at our Walton-on-Thames office, has been awarded Full Accredited Member status of the Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
SFE is a national organisation of specialist lawyers who are committed to support older and vulnerable people. To qualify as a member you must be fully qualified, have spent at least 50% of your time in the last 3 years working with older and vulnerable clients and pass two specialist exams (the Older Client Care in Practice Award and the Older Client Law in Practice Award).
The group provides specialist training programmes, guidance on best practice and support from other specialist members of the group. SFE regularly speak to the press about changes and development in law and work behind the scenes with various government and legal bodies to provide a voice for older and vulnerable people.
