We are thrilled to announce that Howell Jones Solicitors have been shortlisted for two awards at the LawNet Awards 2022; Learning & Development and Trainee of the Year (Seema Gill).
Seema Gill was nominated for the Trainee of the Year award. An exceptional trainee at the star of her career she is highly competent, driven and with an incredible work ethic and Seema’s progress with our firm belies an unconventional start in the world of law. Her early impact on clients, colleagues and the profession as a whole has been incredibly impressive and she has been shortlisted as ‘one to watch’ for the future!
We are also delighted to be shortlisted in the Learning & Development category. This is awarded to a firm that invests effectively in the development of their people through learning and development initiatives. We are extremely proud that the judges highlighted our vision and approach as to what makes a great lawyer and the fact that we embrace, encourage and support different routes to the law, regardless of academic preference and previous experience, and not just through the traditional education options.
The winners will be announced at the LawNet Annual Conference and Awards on 1 July 2022 at Celtic Manor Resort, Newport.
Simon Carter, Managing Partner, commented “It is a huge honour to be shortlisted for these awards. Since my partners and I took ownership of the firm just over 4 years ago, we knew we wanted to do things differently and to be recognised as legal advice leaders in our region as well as a firm that values and invests in its people. To be shortlisted for these awards is an outstanding achievement and testament to our vision to grow and develop lawyers who are not just technically brilliant, but have excellent client care skills and a long and happy career in the law.”
