Howell Jones solicitors are very proud to announce that Seema Gill, Trainee Solicitor, was awarded Trainee of the Year at the LawNet Awards 2022. The award was presented at the Conference and Awards Ceremony on 1st July 2022 at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.
We are delighted for Seema. Highly competent, driven and with an incredible work ethic, Seema’s progress with our firm belies an unconventional start in the world of law. Her early impact on clients, colleagues and the profession as a whole has been incredibly impressive and she has been shortlisted as ‘one to watch’ for the future!
We are also incredibly proud to have been shortlisted in the Learning & Development category. The judges highlighted our individual approach as to what makes a great lawyer and the fact that we embrace, encourage and support different routes to the law, regardless of academic preference and previous experience, and not just through the traditional education options.

Seema joined Howell-Jones in 2013 as a legal secretary and she completed her law degree and SQE part-time whilst working full-time in our Private Client, Litigation and Commercial Property teams. She will be the first at Howell Jones to qualify using this route and one of the first in the country, which is an incredible achievement.”
