Jess holds an LLB (Hons) in Modern Languages and Law from the University of the West of England and is a full member of The Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP). As a full STEP member, Jess is a recognised expert in her field, with proven qualifications and experience. After qualifying as a solicitor with Howell Jones, Jess spent ten years as a private client solicitor in Guildford. She then returned to Howell Jones to join the Wills and Probate team in 2015. Jess is a partner at Howell Jones.
Jess was awarded Highly Commended for Businessperson of the Year at the Surrey Business Awards 2019.
Jess was also a Finalist for the title of Private Client of the Year in the 2019 SLS Legal Awards. This is a credit to her excellent contribution and technical knowledge.
Jess specialises in wills, estate administration, tax planning, elderly client, lasting powers of attorney and trust administration. On the estate administration side, she deals with a wide range of matters ranging from the provision of a responsive, efficient and effective service in more straightforward cases through to dealing with complex estates involving aspects such as business and agricultural property relief, international elements, post-death variations, and ongoing trusts.

- Successfully administering an estate where the deceased made a homemade will and almost every aspect was ambiguous and complex.

When not working Jess loves visiting and learning about new cities and countries. She also loves a family games night and enjoys playing board games.
