Simon Carter.

Simon holds an LLB (Hons) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with commendation. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Simon worked as a dispensing optician. He became a trainee solicitor with Howell-Jones in 1998 and has worked with us since. Simon is a partner with Howell Jones.

Simon specialises in non contentious company commercial and corporate work. This includes private company mergers, acquisitions and disposals, including management buy-outs, buying and selling businesses, commercial agreements, franchise agreements, shareholder and joint venture agreements and advice on contracts.  He manages risk and compliance within the firm and its other day to day affairs.

When not busy at work, Simon relaxes by cooking delicious food, messing about with bikes – motorised or otherwise, skiing, diving and trying to keep on top of his gardening.
